This hotel is all about the location and the staff. Beautifully renovated, it could not be more conveniently located, literally across the street from the Convention Center and the Boardwalk shopping mall. The staff is amazing! Everyone is cheerful, helpful and go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Special mention to Adam Ramirez who was super helpful when we needed to box and ship some things home. I was definitely annoyed when asked to pay $50 for early check in (what? early check in fee? the room is just sitting there waiting for us! but we were too tired to contemplate the alternative. Horrible service! My daughter stayed here and her bag was stolen from the room!!!! Her bag with her belongings (expensive headphone and speaker, money, electric toothbrush) just disappeared from the room while she was out. Marriott REFUSED to reimburse her because they claimed that nobody accessed her room. They were very dismissive and rude with the entire situation. A billion dollars corporation couldn’t care less and treated us like liars. I will never spend a night at ANY Marriott hotels for as long as I live. Avoid this hotel because they do lots of mistakes that will make you nervous along your trip! Examples, they canceled my reservation, after 20 hours travel trip!! Walking in the airport doing lots of calls due to a mistake of an employer !! Imagine how nervous situation!! Again, they gave a 20$ coupon to use in the lounge, after use, they charged me !! a mistake of an employer who didnt notice im given a coupon!! They didnt return the money. For both mistakes no one at least apologise!! In this hotel you will stay nervous along your trip! Dont ruin it!
The walls are tissue paper thin, you can hear every and I mean every noise, peep, sneeze, fart, breath that your next door neighbors take. We had a total of 2 hours sleep in 2 nights. The front desk was made aware and they acted as though they had never heard this information prior. I had earplugs and Apple noise cancelling headphones in and could still hear the “all night” activities of the person staying next to us. Room was kinda clean, the bathroom shower pan needed to be scrubbed, bathroom floor was full of paint stains.
