Had a really good burrito bowl here. The way they season their meat is like nothing else I've tasted. Very good. Empanadas are really good as well, though they are a bit pricey; it is Huntington Village after all. Overall it's a really great atmosphere though it can get to be very loud when it's crowded. Just shows you how successful it is. The Mac and cheese and French fries are surprisingly good considering this is a burrito spot. Definitely a Huntington favorite!
A group of friends and I visited this restaurant the other night and we were very impressed with the food. I ordered a burrito with carnitas and plantain which was absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese was also excellent. The drinks were great as well. The service was a bit slow, but it was only because the restaurant was busy. The atmosphere had great music, a relaxed vibe, and the food was delightful. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Randomly walked in while walking around town having no idea what to expect. Turned out to be a very good choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the music was exactly my style, growing up in the early 90s. And the food was so good, I've been telling all of my friends about it ever since we were there. Definitely check out the burritos, they were terrific.

Newwave is the best place for Mexican food with generous portions at a great price! My friends and I love the vibe of the restaurant, excellent service, and especially enjoy the awesome 80s/90s movies they show on the big screen. I would give it a 10/10 rating.
the food is awesome the service is horrible. i eat here pretty often food is always good taste fresh great portion size but the servers really dont care and make it very clear. i put a picture of me waiting to pay for 10 minutes.
A great, cheap sit down Californian style Mexican place. I was shocked at how much food we got based on the prices. The dip trio and Burria quesadilla was a highlight.
