False Advertising! If you want authentic Soba noodles don 't go here. Yamazato has good food but not the Soba noodles as advertised. I would give it 4-5 stars if they did, but I was disappointed to find the Soba noodles were spaghetti noodles, when I picked up the order, I asked are they Soba noodles? I ordered the chicken soba noodle soup, which had a delicious broth, but eating out of the large plastic takeout container was quite challenging. My wife tried the vegetable yaki soba noodles and enjoyed the fresh, crisp vegetables. The seaweed salad was just average. Overall, this didn’t feel like a genuine Japanese restaurant, and the service was not impressive either. I regret having to leave a negative review.
The food was amazing and arrived at our table just three minutes after we ordered. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was decent, but I would love to see them replace the outdated carpet and embrace a more authentic Japanese decor.
