It's been a while since I could actually go there drinking a drink or eating and hanging up. This last day of commemoration. The attitude of the employees was great, even if they worked on a holiday. They were always really cool because of all the drivers and drivers who only show up to hang with everyone. Although my days on two wheels are no longer physically possible, I will be back regularly on four wheels. I always get at least one lemonade. What happens is always quite good!
Unfortunately, the venue is currently closed. However, this review focuses more on the car/motor atmosphere that Newcombe has cultivated over the years. Awesome place to stop for quality food and a friendly motorcycle crowd. Worth the journey. The bike shop inside is stocked with quality riding gear from helmets, to gloves and even has a bike for sale in the middle of the shop. The ride up is fun with excellent views and rest areas along the way. If you’re a motorcyclist this is a must.

What a great restaurant in the middle of nowhere. There was WiFi too for all those that are in the area and deprived of cell phone service. This is a popular spot for bikers, hikers, and fancy sports cars. The prices for the meals.were fairly reasonable too. Really good food and friendly staff.
Visited few years back and loved everything about this place from the sightseeing drive to the food and ppl. However this establishment was closed until further notice as of Jan/2021, probably due to covid. Hope they weather through the tough time and reopen when all done. I'll be back.
Hands down the best riding destination in the L.A. National Forest. Good food, plenty of bikes to look around, and plenty of fellow bikers to meet and talk with. Oh, and some cars show up to.
I really miss this place and the good times we had when it was open. It felt just like the show CHEERS. I hope it can open again someday, keeping the same original atmosphere we loved.
