I will not be going back. They have gotten me twice with a sour salads. I went in and picked up a grab and go salad about six months ago. I thought I had selected a decent salad. However, when I got home, I was unpleasantly surprised that the lettuce on the bottom of the salad was already old. I thought I would give them another try so I went inside and ordered a salad to go with specific directions to hold the tomatoes and add extra cucumbers. It was my fault that I did not check the salad before leaving and for assuming it would’ve been made fresh. However, when I got home, the salad I was given was soured. The salad had wilted greens and the meat was not of good quality. It also had a strange smell. Despite being hungry, I tried to avoid those parts. The fruit bowl contained overly ripe fruit pieces, of which I only took 2 bites. The second bite tasted unpleasant. I would consider ordering from this restaurant again, but I would choose a different dish next time.
I only come to Newk's about once a year when I visit my mom in West Monroe. We always go after Sunday church and it is always crowded. But we always find a place to sit and get our food pretty quickly. There are a lot of choices on the menu. A lot of them are pretty healthy but don't sound bland. It's a winner for me.
The kids' pizzas were sloppily topped, with one of them having barely any cheese - mostly just sauce. The kids' Mac and Cheese looked bigger in the online picture. This is only my second time ordering from Newk's, but I must admit I was disappointed by the kids' meals.

Awesome sandwiches, polite and attentive staff. Had a job interview there. Can't wait to go down the menu and try everything. I'll definitely go back, but bring the family so they can enjoy it too. Everything is fresh and on display to prove it. Thank you Newk's....
