This place deserves 5 stars in my eyes. Such a wonderful and welcoming environment! Front desk staff was very kind and explained the menu and different pairing options for lunch!! Such a variety of foods to choose from! Vegetarian options as well. The food is worth the price. Everything is cooked right there. Fresh. Clean restrooms, clean tables. Ample spacing. Ordered the Margherita pizza, loaded potato soup and the greek salad. Superb choices!Manuel, the manager was very kind and down to Earth. Served me and my child personally and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely come back and invite others to join me. Such a wonderful experience. ?
I've loved this restaurant for years, but my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered takeout through their website, and when I went to pick it up, three out of the seven items I ordered were missing. When I inquired about the first item, the staff member simply said, "Oh, we're out of that. You can choose something else." The same response was given for the second and third items. It was frustrating to realize that I could have walked away with nearly half of my order missing if I hadn’t asked. I requested a refund, but I still haven't received it. It's a shame because I really enjoy the food, but I think I'm done with Newk's.
The quality and service at the Gulf to Bay location have declined significantly. Even though it wasn't busy, it took 15 minutes for our food to arrive, and we had to ask multiple times before the kitchen acknowledged our order. I paid extra for a fruit side, but the fruit was far from fresh. There was no ice available in any of the fountain drink machines, and many tables were left dirty and unbussed. They were also out of several menu items. I really hope this place can improve!
I am quite disappointed with my order today. I've been a fan of the spicy shrimp pizza here for years, but when I picked it up and took it home, it looked different. It turned out to be a buffalo chicken pizza with just a few shrimp on top. I'm frustrated because this wasn't an error; I checked the menu, and the buffalo chicken pizza doesn’t come with shrimp. They sold me the wrong pizza, just with a few shrimp added. Not great.

The potato soup was satisfactory, but the pizza was underwhelming. I don't mind if it doesn't look exactly like it does on the website, but the taste was really disappointing. It was too salty for my liking. Based on this initial experience, I'm quite disappointed as I had heard good things about this place and the reviews suggested a higher quality than what I experienced.
This is our favorite place to get salads in Tampa area! We live in New Tampa and drive to Clearwater just for the amazing SALADS! The barbecue chicken pizza is really good too. We met the owner today! He?s so friendly and gave many suggestions on themenu. He also let us try a few extra things. We need a NEWKS location in New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area!
I love the great selection on the menu, and their soups and salads are always fresh and tasteful. I like newk especially? favoritessalat and me? ve liked any suppe I had. the roasted garlic at the front is nice to add soups. the staff is always friendly and helpful, the restaurant is kept clean.
I live in Tampa so I'm not by this place often. But when I'm over that way I always make sure I grab lunch at newks! Food is always delicious. Staff is always friendly and the place is spotless. Bonus points for the Merry Christmas cups! How adorable!

Worst service ever and my order was not right. I wasnt even greeted when I entered and waiting to minutes before anyone even came up to take my order.
Went in last week and you all didn’t have lettuce. We went for a salad. Seems like you all should have better management.
