Newport Snacking - Table reservation

I have never had to write a review like this before but I have never come across a waitress so rude, stood around kitchen bar area chatting to other workers. We had to ask for her to come and take a drinks order. She was judgemental about our food order and raising her eyebrows, she requested us to remove children’s items from the table (no reason why). Clearly has a problem with children eating here. Generally huffing and puffing like we were a general inconvenience. Basically threw down knife and fork in front of me and probably wonders why I cannot even utter a thanks to her. Absolutely not professional at all and clearly hates her job. Has no respect for customers. For that reason alone...

We stopped here on our way to Porto Vecchio wanting to feed the kids after a long journey. Very unassuming place at the entrance to the car park. But it was really quite good. Our daughter’s pasta carbonara was just OK. But the burgers were excellent! And not a bad price.

Simple place, simple but tasty dishes. Good price-quality ratio. They are next to a desert bar, so I’d advise to have your desert at the neighbours. Their bruschetta options could be viewed as mini-pizzas. Very nice.

Don’t let the idea of ‘snacks’ scare you We were there for lunch n everything we had was delicious ! Staff is smiley helpful What a great find! If you are around don’t hesitate to eat here! Yummy pizza!!!

Saw that this restaurant had reasonable reviews and tried it one night. Food was very average and I probably wouldnt return.
