I have been going to Next Door Bistro for many years. I am their loyal customer but last night when I went for my birthday dinner. I ordered my usual dish which is Capellini with Roasted Eggplant, Pepper, and Pine Nut with Creamy Tomato Sauce Dinner Pasta, for $20.95. I understand the inflation cost and I don’t care about the price. But the pasta was served in front of my face. It was a total disappointment. The portion was like a side dish. Really good Italian food, exactly what I had been looking for. Crowded dining room, which still makes me a little nervous with COVID, but great experience overall. Looks like they have a strong take out game as well.
Dined in on Sat. 12/28 before visiting the Botanic Garden light show. I had the Linguine with Shrimp and my friend had the Cheese Ravioli and we were both pleased. Also, don't skip the garlic bread!
