The pricing is extremely reasonable given Bay Area rents (12 buck lunches). The portions in the lunch bento box were generous. The service was very efficient and friendly enough. The hot tea was great not too weak or strong. There are vegetarian and omnivore options. Seating is accessible, armless. Place is clean, food is fresh. Ambience is fine, but not amazing. I think the flavors are not quite there to merit 5 stars, but it is quite good. Parking is usually on the same block. To be honest I'm a little surprised given the good value and consistency that they aren't more crowded. It may be folks prefer a peppier more hands on cheerleader type of server, or the slightly diner feel isn't fanc...

we were from Ni-Mo to their prizes (yes, sushi to a bargain) and the carry they get. I don't think I can remember any sushi link that matches its price and its amount in a bustling city area. Now yes, they get the reduced quality of sushi and everything else. pure based on food, I would give it 3 stars. However, the overall value we got from Ni-Mo is a solid 4 stars. there is a part of me who desires for Ni-Mo to concentrate a little more on quality, but then they are literally sushi to a discount. not for termine. go in if you only have hunger and can eat a horse.
We were impressed by Ni-Mo's affordable prices and generous portions. I can't think of any other sushi restaurant in a busy downtown area that offers such a value. Although the quality of the sushi may not be top-notch, the overall value at Ni-Mo deserves 4 stars. While I wish they would focus more on quality, it's hard to complain when they are offering discounted sushi. This is not the place for a romantic date, but perfect for when you're hungry and looking to eat a lot.
The outdoor patio at this restaurant is lovely. The portions are generous, and we enjoyed dishes such as tempura, sashimi, hand rolls, and two American style rolls. Everything was delicious. This place is excellent for American style sushi, especially hand rolls. The sashimi was of good quality for the price, although it may not be on the same level as Sushi Same, it is much more affordable. Overall, it is a great value. Book a table now
The food was ok. Absolutely nothing fancy about it. I hate being in a place that makes you feel like they could do without you. Customer service was trash. I said thank you every time they brought me something, as I always do. They only said your welcome when we paid. Needless to say I wouldn't be back
The food at this restaurant doesn't have an authentic Japanese flavor. It tastes more like it was made by a generic sushi chef who is not Japanese. There are plenty of other Japanese restaurants in the area that offer a better dining experience.
This sushi restaurant in the neighborhood is pretty good. The menu has some great items, but also a few that aren't as good. The sushi is fresh and well-prepared. The service was good as well. It looks like a family-owned business.
I always love the fresh sashimi and beef sukiyaki at this restaurant! The service is great and the food is consistently good. I highly recommend it! Book a table now
Our go to for no-frills, bento box and sashimi appetizer. Some of the best CA rolls (surprisingly, since I don't even like CA rolls).
STILL holds the torch as my favorite sushi restaurant!
