My wife has shared her experiences, noting how rude some of the deli staff can be, particularly mentioning that Sheryl in seafood often seems moody. There have been times when Sheryl greeted her nicely but became upset when my wife changed her mind about ordering one or two lobsters, responding with irritation because she had already taken one out. Additionally, when my wife asked an older man in the deli to trim the prosciutto, he reacted defensively, saying, “I always do. Is there anything else you want to tell me so I know how to do my job?” It was quite surprising. When I visited the store today, I asked the customer service representative to speak with the manager. She mentioned that...

Additionally, the prepared food is simply unacceptable. The person in charge of the kitchen needs a serious lesson in cooking. The food used to be delicious, but now it’s inedible. My daughter spoke with the chef during a recent visit, and he was so full of himself, acting as if he’s a culinary expert. Unfortunately, he’s outdated, confused, and completely out of touch. The entire deli and prepared foods staff should be let go and replaced with individuals who genuinely care, know how to cook, and understand the importance of customer service. Instead, we have an arrogant team that needs a serious wake-up call. Perhaps they should start with basic cooking skills—like boiling water—and build...

When it was Nicholas FT, it was a neighborhood treasure with a fantastic deli, fresh and hot baked bread from the on site bakery, and the produce was surprisingly fresh and diverse. One day, recently, I picked up pre wrapped provolone from the deli counter and took it home to fold that I had Swiss. On another occasion, I took home oven roasted sliced ham...nope, that was turkey breast. Finally, today I decided on a chicken salad wrap...well, of course it turned out to be tuna. The bread is no longer warm and fresh. The produce is as stale as the stuff I used to get at Shoprite. And then it hit me! As I was driving past the back of the store, I saw the Shoprite tractor trailer....Nicholas Foo...

I’m not sure where they find the staff at this restaurant. They seem more focused on scrolling through their phones than on assisting customers or doing their jobs. When I asked a cashier why so many of them look bored and unapproachable, he simply said it’s because they are bored and that the management and owner are not doing a good job. I suggested that if they’re unhappy, they should find another job, as there are plenty of retail opportunities available. Of course, he had no response to that. I urge the managers and owners of Green Grocers to take action. I’m tired of dealing with grumpy and rude employees. A change in the way you treat your staff could make a big difference. My husband also contacted The Fresh Grocer after hearing about the incident. He found it unacceptable and troubling that the manager couldn’t address the inappropriate behavior of a customer who was still present in the store. We believe it was cowardly and unacceptable for Secor not to enforce any store policy regarding a customer who tells another to shut up and leave. I would also like to mention that several years ago, while shopping in the produce section, an employee yelled at me for being in his way. I reported him as well. Customers deserve to shop and pay for their groceries in a space free from harassment, especially from individuals with such disrespectful attitudes.

This place has really declined since it was Foodtown. The fish and butcher counters close at 6 PM, which is inconvenient for anyone coming home from work and hoping to grab something fresh for dinner. Although the butcher is still decent, it just doesn’t hold up to when it was Foodtown. The products have changed, and now it mostly offers ShopRite’s Bowl and Basket brand, which makes me wonder: why not just shop at ShopRite instead?

Came in here to grab some cold cuts. Staff behind the counter could be more personable and act like they care about the customers. I didn't get that we are happy to help you feeling like i do at other supermarkets. Prices were okay here. They did have everything I came in for. For that alone will give them these two stars.

I just want to say that they r making a huge mistake in firing carina mitchell. She was a great cashier, and she does not deserve to be fired. I don't know who this Dave guy is but this is ridiculous , I hope food town suffers. Dave should be fired if anything. Book a table now

I'm truly impressed by the transformation in the bakery department. The cakes not only look incredible, but they also taste fantastic! The service is outstanding as well! I highly recommend this store and its bakery!
