Moved around California over the last 2 decades and have never been to this location. Currently, we go to the Burbank one which has been consistently 5/5 since we discovered it 7 years ago.I went to another location in Irvine and it was also as good as I remembered but this one makes grocery store sushi feel like a fine dining experience!We were in the area, hungry and exhausted so we just wanted something reliable. It saddens me to write this since I used to be a huge supporter of Niko Niko Sushi... In my recent visit I was very disappointed that the sushi has drastically dropped in quality. There was almost no fish in the roll and it was filled with rice and fried onion. I also got a Philly roll and there was the smallest amount of salmon inside. Taste was not the same. AND I FOUND A SMALL PIECE OF HAIR ON MY ROLL. It's disappointing to witness how much the quality has dropped. Unfortunately will not be going back!
I’ve been going to Niko Niko on National for years, and the food never disappoints—always super fresh with generous portions at great prices. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is outstanding, with a friendly staff that remains consistently excellent. This is definitely my favorite sushi place on the west side, and I highly recommend it!
Overall, dining at Niko Niko Sushi was a fantastic experience. The prices are very reasonable, and while the sushi isn't gourmet, it’s ideal for takeout and perfectly hits the spot. The service was quick, and our order from the menu was spot on!

Ordered a 3 bento box combo with salmon, crunchy roll and spicy tuna roll. It also comes with rice, salad and soup. It was a good portion for lunch meal. I have no complaints. It's a basic roll so you cannot expect too much flavor.
They say they close at 10pm and yet arriving near 9pm were turned away. Told them it says they close at 10 and the lady was rude and simply said the kitchen was closed. At that point just close at 9pm if you want to end early.
If your posted hours say you close at 10 PM, there’s no reason to turn me away at 8:50 PM on a Friday! This is very unprofessional, especially considering we are regular customers.
Love this place! Nice service and delicious food. My favorite is Baked Spicy Lobster Roll, so yumm!
