This deli is a very easily missed hidden gem behind a small Portuguese market. This is probably one of the best bang for your buck sandwich shops. And based on previous reviews, they have not raised their prices in many years.<br/ <br/ There aren't many choices in terms of sandwiches, but why muddle up the menu when you can make a few dishes really well. The staff, who was probably the owner was nice, and explained what kind of food were available. Not being Portuguese, it was a little bit intimidating. However, he was kind enough to explain things.<br/ <br/ This place is definitely the definition of what classic Winnipeg hole in the wall is. So check it out.

I absolutely adore the Bifana sandwich at Ninho's! This place is not just a grocery store, but so much more. The Bifana sandwich consists of tender pork, onion, and a delightful hot sauce all served on a homemade bun. It's incredibly tasty and priced at just under $4. You really can't beat the value and quality you receive. And let's not forget about the fresh and homemade buns - they are simply delicious!

I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The quick service was excellent, with a soup and hot sandwich combo for just $6.33. The staff was friendly and efficient, making it a quick in-and-out experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys homemade flavors in their food.

The bifana at this restaurant is fantastic. This meat sandwich with onions, a spicy marinade, and a soft bun is my favorite item on the menu. The price is also very reasonable. The only downside is that the restaurant is far from my location, making it a bit of a trek to get there.

I might have to revisit. Hot food counter looked good. Lots of dry goods. Picked up some custard tarts and i think they'd been frozen? Maybe there's a day of the week to go for fresh. Pastry is pretty disappointing when they're refrigerated/frozen.

The busniess needs to update there hours of operation. I live out of town and work in the city only curtain days and went after work which i work until 5 and the busniess was closed, other then that amazing staff and food.

Great place to go, my family has been coming here for years. The bifanas are amazing and the queijadas remind me of when I was a kid. Definitely a must try if you love Portuguese food and snacks.

I've been shopping at this family owned business for years. Their fresh baked goods and cooked dishes are always perfection and such a treat to bring home to the family.
