I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at a restaurant with incredibly poor customer service. The owner and waitresses are all first-generation Japanese immigrants who do not prioritize customer satisfaction. After paying the bill, they expect customers to leave within 5 minutes. During my visit with a group of 10 people, we spent over $300 with an 18% gratuity included. However, we were only served hot tea once throughout the entire meal, despite repeated requests. When a glass of water was accidentally spilled on the table, a friend asked for a napkin to dry her chair and belongings. I had sashimi and the fish was very fresh with generous portions, plus good miso soup and rice. They have a fresh sushi bar and a menu with a good variety of dishes. The service was fast and servers friendly and courteous. It is a very small restaurant so there could be a wait depending on when one goes, but it has a good atmosphere and comfortable seating. They also do take-out. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting great Japanese food!
I've been visiting this restaurant for at least 10 years now. It's a cozy spot that's always bustling with activity. The food has consistently exceeded my expectations. Their lunch specials are fairly priced, and they offer an excellent deal on party trays. For $95, we got around 8 to 10 sushi rolls, though I can't remember the exact number. The service is fantastic as well.
Over priced sushi, nothing original that stands out. Ordered a Jerry Roll which is supposed to be seared and it wasn't. Tried spicy ninja roll was a total let down. Thought maybe they are just really good at the basics but even their crunch roll was a let down. Their dinning area really small.

Went here to catch up with my family. The servers were very friendly and attentive. It was authentic Japanese food and would definitely come back. Prices are reasonable for what you get and the quality of the fish was very fresh and tasty.
Ordered the lunch special with tonkatsu and tempura. The serving size was satisfying and the tempura fry technique was on point. It's hard to find restaurants that execute it well. The service was attentive and the staff were nice.
This is likely the only place in the neighborhood to find truly authentic Japanese food (please let me know if there's another!). The prices are reasonable, especially for the lunch specials, which are an incredible value.
A great neighborhood sushi restaurant for over a couple of decades. The quality of sushi has been consistent and fresh.
