DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! VERY bad experience! After a long week of dealing with the death of my son, we decided to have nice dinner. Well, this was not the place! We made a reservation for 15. They set a table for 13 asked for a table to be added we were told they didn't have any more. We asked if a table from the patio could be brought in. One person said ok another calm those table are reserved. The server with long black hair was rude and nasty (she should NOT be in ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB, NOR SHOULD the bartender) he was also very rude, service was ****.The food is too expensive and not good. We were told they ran out of ice tea salmon. This was the worst place I've ever been too. FOOD...

Initially we were excited to go to this restaurant but when we arrived there seemed to be a miscommunication in regards to who was our server. We didn't get a server for about 20 or so minutes. The food came out quickly, but wished that the server paid a bit more attention to us. It seemed like there were plenty of servers but they played busy, tables were left uncleared for 20+ minutes after patrons left. The staff wasn't too friendly, and noticed when a table next to ours asked for something bc their server was nowhere to be found, the server seemed bothered to assist. The decor was cute and on trend but just disappointed by the overall experience. Would not go back.

I'm really sad to see this place close down! While their flavors may not have been the most unique, they were definitely putting in the effort to create a fun, modern Mexican dining experience. My husband ordered the lobster enchiladas, which were just okay, and I thought they were quite overpriced. However, I really enjoyed the queso fundido and, of course, the bottomless tortilla chips. You can't go wrong with anything churro-related! I liked the churro donuts with caramel sauce, though I felt they were a bit too dry and slightly overcooked.

When we arrived with friends from Las Vegas, a sign on the door stated that they were closed for renovations and remodeling....we had confirmed reservations through Open Table....very, very, disappointing. If we had been notified, we would have chosen another Mexican restaurant in SLC...poor customer service from Nino Viejo and Open Table Book a table now

This is one of our favorite go-to places for Mexican food. The service is great, and the menu has a very diverse selection, all of which is good, at least that which we have tried so far. My wife's favorite is the Carne Asada fries and my favorite thus far is the tacos, Al Pastor.

The food was HORRIBLE. I have never left a review however i wish i would have known. I ordered a tostada, cold, way to much salt, no lettuce, no cheese or no tomatoes or an other condiment. don't order a margarita. I'm so sorry for their struggle but you have to do better.

My husband and I shared three tapas: the steak fries, tamales, and blanco quesadillas, and we were absolutely delighted with all of them! We couldn't be more pleased! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent!

Restaurant closing. Hostess was rude. Said we needed to wait for table despite having a reservation. Told us bar was full when it wasn't so we ignored her and had one drink before leaving without dinner. Book a table now

They are closed. Even though Open Table still let's you make reservation and asks you to confirm it. Ridiculous in this day and age to have just turn off reservations while they are closed.
