I stopped at Nino’s where I hadn’t been for long and used to like it. I wanted an ice cream. The girl serving had gloves on and was handling cash, notes and coins, and not changing nor washing gloves to touch and serve cones. Useless wearing gloves if touching money and cones!! When i asked her to please change them before touching a cone for me she said the managers were awkward about changing gloves even though she agreed with me. Do the managers want businesses to shut again if they cant afford disposable gloves and keep customers safe? Totally disgusting even in non pandemic times!!!! Cash harbours tons of bacteria for days!!!!
We stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch during our journey. We had been here before, but didn't realize it had changed ownership until it was too late. The menu seemed a bit pricey, but we decided to order two bacon sandwiches for £3.95 each. When they arrived, the server seemed confused and not very friendly. The sandwiches were on thin bread, soaked with fat, and the bacon was barely cooked with tough rind. It felt like there was a tense atmosphere because we didn't order one of the more expensive meals.
I didn't have high expectations for this visit, but I was pleasantly surprised. My husband, mother-in-law, and I went for lunch. My husband and mother-in-law both ordered fish and chips, while I opted for the chilli con carne. The waitress was friendly and served us quickly. I must say, the chilli was delicious and absolutely lovely! My husband and mother-in-law also enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be returning for another visit. The restaurant had a pleasant decor and was clean.
Upon arriving at the ice cream counter, we were greeted by the friendliest guy in the world. He went above and beyond to ensure my grandson left with a smile and a delicious cone. They also offer delicious coffee, which we couldn't resist ordering. The service was exceptional, even asking if the little one needed a change. The experience was heartwarming and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for the amazing service!
