A group of friends and I recently visited Nirvana after hearing about it from one of our colleagues. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted with smiles and welcoming service. Our server, Joziah, was fantastic. He recommended the vegetable samosas, and boy was it a great recommendation! Nirvana is the best tester restaurant if you have not eaten Indian Cuisine before. Here, you will find a pretty wide variety of authentic Indian food. They are a small business with a small staff, but they somehow manage to cater to all of customers on a daily basis, and have slowly created a name brand for themselves in the 626 area. Restaurant interior is what you would expect, small and cozy. Service is also pretty standard; staff members are just as attentive as they need to be. I almost finished a full order of Tandoori Chicken (8 pieces) by myself, and I couldn't resist stealing some Chicken Tikka Masala from my boyfriend (sorry if I spelled that wrong). The atmosphere is always so clean and welcoming. The owners are super friendly and the waiter already knows us since we go for dinner often. The Kroma is my favorite with garlic naan. Samosas are delicious and get the hot chai or Mango Lassi drink. I love small quiet mom and pop places that are more intimate. I love the rice pudding too. This is a small Indian restaurant nestled in a plaza. With only 8-10 tables, it may not be spacious but the owners are lovely. It's evident that there are frequent diners who enjoy their meals there. We tried the tikka masala, seekh kabob, tandoori paratha, saag paneer, and a side of basmati rice. The dishes were bursting with flavor, and the paratha bread was warm and crispy, making it a perfect pairing with the saag paneer.

The manager’s son was very kind and made great suggestions for not only the food, but also things to do in the area. He was incredibly accommodating and helped my family with all of our allergen needs. The tikka masala was very creamy and had justenough space, I definitely recommend.
