We have tried Nizam 's Indian before and loved it and recently tried the Mediterranean restaurant and also loved it! It was my other half 's first experience with falafel, and he didn 't know what to expect, but was very impressed with their lentil soup and Shish Tahook. As was I. The owner was very personable, and we, as well as the other guests, found it adorable that his young son was helping by bussing and waiting. It 's a family place and it 's very quaint and the food is highly recommended. Be sure to ask for their specials. I wish I had tried the Goat Stew that day, but maybe next time. I came to Atlantic City to run in the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in Sunday. Friday night, I was sitting in my AirBnB needing to eat. I opened DoorDash and saw this as an option. I figured Mediterranean food is always a good option in eating healthy. I ordered the chicken shwarma plate, adding an extra pita bread. It was great. I loved it. It was enough food for two days. I went to bed very happy. I awoke the next morning and noticed that I forgot to put the food in the fridge. Once dinner came I chose to go to the restaurant and order the same meal. Again, it was a great. I will return if ever in the area again.
We discovered this fantastic Mediterranean restaurant in New Jersey and were pleased to find a refreshing alternative to the typical casino food in Atlantic City. The portions were generous, enough for us to share the Nizami mixed platter. The Knafeh dessert was absolutely amazing - a super generous portion that could easily serve two people. We are excited to come back and try the shawarma on our next visit!
I called the restaurant to inquire about the grill mix and specifically asked how many people it was meant to feed. The person who took my order seemed confused and told me it was for one person. I ended up ordering two sets for two people and spent $80, only to later find out that each set could feed at least 2-3 people. Despite the confusion, the food was delicious and freshly prepared.
