From the outside, this restaurant appears to be a little unloved. It needs a few repairs and a coat of paint. It is, however, ideally situated on the lakeside and has superb views over the lake. The menu is not the average Bangladeshi menu, but has some really different items, including mussels, trout and sea bass. Service is slow, as there are very few staff, but this suited us. The staff were very friendly and even the cook came out to greet us. All of the food was absolutely superb, so no complaints from us. The restaurant is licensed and the wine etc was very reasonably priced. In fact, everything was reasonably priced. I'm surprised that there weren't more people dining.
There are reviews here that report on slow service. Can I just point out that EVERYTHING is freshly prepared and cooked to order so that clears that bit of negativity up. My friends and I dined there last night and had one of the nicest Indian meals we have ever had. Pleasant staff and exceptional food in lovely surroundings. First class.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. The food here was amazing. We love our food and we were beaten by the size of the portions. The staff are friendly and there must be lots of regular customers as everyone was on first name terms. What an atmosphere.
We’ve been going since Rais the owner took over circa 12 years ago. You will not get a better curry anywhere. You don’t get to the tiffin cup final (2012) at the House of Commons for nothing. Brilliant curries friendly staff

Popped in tonight , meals was alittle slow due to staff and only one chef working. But totally worth it , food was amazing. The gentleman who served us was friendly and really looked after us
The food at this restaurant is excellent and cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is very clean, and it's in a great location. I highly recommend it.
