I 'm not normally one for complaining but on this occasion I feel like I have to. I placed an order at the weekend through Just Eat (my 1st time using this method) and was informed that the estimated delivery time was 8pm, okay a 90 min wait which I could just about live with. As it turned out we waited 2 hours which I find totally unacceptable, the restaurant is a mile and a half away from where I live. When the meal arrived it was missing the onion Bhajis that we ordered. Rang the restaurant and was told we could knock it off our next meal, err I don 't think so. The Nobin (through Deliveroo) unfortunately failed on the holy trinity of service for all restaurants: Our order was 1 hour 15 minutes late Food was barely warm And items were missing! Apparently, the restaurant had delivery driver issues that night however from ordering at 19:10 and receiving the order (well most of it) at 21:35 it left a sour taste. In fairness Fardin did try to communicate the problem proactively, but a call 25 minutes AFTER we were meant to receive the food was not the best start. This was my second visit to this restaurant. Both times the food has taken ages to arrive I’m talking over an hour between starter and main. This is despite there being no one else in the restaurant when we were there. Secondly, this restaurant claims to be ‘Vegetarian Friendly’. We ordered the veggie samosa starter. We cut in and had a bite to find it was the meat samosa. As a vegetarian who has made a dietary life choice this is pretty much criminal. It is the one mistake no restaurant should ever make. We haven't been to the Nobin for 20 Years and went to the obvious competitor across the road for many many years. I would not say anything negative about the food at the competitor as it was always amazing but on a weekend it was really busy and it became less personable. We tried the Nobin tonight and it was great the new waiters we're finding there feet but were lovely. Just let them know what you want and don't wait to be asked. The food was great and my wife and I sat and talked to each other without being rushed. We could have stayed all night! They gave us 30% off the food which we gave it back as a tip. Myself and male family members visited the Nobin Inn for the first time yesterday. Amongst them were well seasoned curry aficionados who know their curry's. From the outset, service was good and polite staff explained the menu well. We all had a mixed starter which was lovely with tender chicken tandoori lamb and crispy onion bhajis etc. We picked mains from the chefs and house recommendations menu and they were as nice as any I had had at the best Indian restaurants. So in summary we were very pleased with our meals and service and were even offered a little shot of Baileys type drink. We will definitely return.
I ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats and it took over 2 hours for the delivery to arrive. When I called to inquire about the delay, they claimed that the Uber driver had gotten into an accident, but I didn't receive any notification indicating that he had even left. I have lost all trust in this restaurant and will not be ordering from them again. They did not offer any apologies over the phone. I do not recommend this restaurant.
We used to have a favorite restaurant that we went to for years, but after it changed ownership, it went downhill. They started using too much tomato paste and the food was awful. After trying many other restaurants, we found the Nobin Inn and had a curry there. It was the best curry we've ever had, along with delicious mango and onion chutneys. Keep up the good work, Nobin!
My husband and myself went out for a quick bite to eat and.. Felt welcomed and relaxed as soon as we walked in, the team that were there tonight were really attentive and helpful, we never felt rushed to order... The food was stunning and we'll definitely be visiting again soon 100

The food was enjoyable. However, when we inquired about the 30% off promotion for Tuesday to Friday, we were informed that it was only valid on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
