Walked into this place today for take-out and stood at the front counter waiting to be helped for 10 minutes while 6 women stood there and pretended to be busy and on their phones. After visiting the Hackensack restaurant this weekend for a birthday dinner I decided to go to the Elizabeth location for lunch.A young man who happened to be cleaning the tables came over to assist me with my lunch order. While being helped the women at the counter decided to chime in. I realized since I was not Hispanic and didnt speak Spanish they weren 't interested in taking my order. New Jersey flavoured La Colombianidad This place is a labour of love that delivers spectacular renditions of Colombian classics. The Bandeja Paisa was quintessentially paisa, featuring what looked to be a 3D printed chicharrón that was out of this world. It came with beans that screamed paisa with churrasquito, chorizo, ripe plantain, egg, avocado, and rice. Glorious I already miss that day and truly look forward to my next visit. Definitely one of the worst Colombian Nights I have visited. The meat was very tough and therefore not fresh and in the end I couldn 't eat the ASADITO what I wanted because they didn 't have it.
