we had a nice night out. the service was fantastic and the wine was incredible. I had the Grenache-Syrah and my partner had the taxi sav both were amazing. but we thought eating was sub par. we had 5 dishes and 2 desserts. here is a breakdown of our experience: oyster with granita (the granita exaggerated the oysters. too much granita chicken parfait (parfait was amazing, but the brot? biscotti? definitiw was not a roggenbrot attached to the parfait, rough. not good. remoulade was not possible. too salty. was it perhaps too many sneaky? lamb shoulder was excellent. again a little on the salty side, but I didn't care. prawn gnocchi with the bisque was great! Just so delicious. I had the steak, which was cooked perfectly and was the tastiest steak I’ve ever had. The sides were spot on as well. I’m Coeliac and they were very accomodating. 90% of the menu was gluten free. Strawberry soufflé to top it off (Y. U. M.)10/10 food, 10/10 atmosphere and 10/10 service.
great food! $50 for lunch menu is a really reasonable price. I recomend the prawn vol-au-vent, so yummy! a bit slow in the service so that they can not go anywhere for a 1h lunch.
fantastic little restaurant with some of the best food I had in the last memory. quaint, relaxed and tasty, with good service; What else can you ask?
