This place came highly recommended by other reviewers so I had to try. Ordered their seafood paella, beef chicken empanadas, Cuban sandwich and the Italian cheesecake. Their empanadas were very VERY good! I've eaten tons of empanadas in my lifetime, but these tasted clean, home made and you can tell they care about their ingredients. They are baked, so not greasy like most empanadas out there. The dough is more like a puff pastry and is super flaky. The beef was my preferred choice. The seafood paella was delicious! The rice absorbed all the broth from the seafood, so every bite had a burst of seafood flavor. It is a big portion, feeds 2 people easily, maybe 3. The Cuban sandwich was good, b...

Cute place for Argentinian food. I tried the lomito, which was very filling. It's an okay sandwich but I'm just not a fan of lettuce in warm sandwiches and the bread wasn't great. My husband had the choripan, a staple that we often had while in Argentina, but again the bread wasn't great. Also, the bread to filling ratio was too much bread on this one especially. Tasty food, outstanding and friendly service, and a charming hole-in-the-wall atmosphere—what more could you want? Nonno's is a fantastic little Argentinian sandwich shop run by a man named Nonno, who also serves as the head chef. It's an ideal spot to gather with friends or family. It’s definitely a must-visit in Scarsdale Village!

What a bright spot this little family restaurant is! An unassuming exterior, Nonno's food is outstanding. Best empanadas, pork sandwich, chimichurri, fresh bread. Everything is homemade and delicious. My husband and I enjoyed our date night and we will gladly return again soon. Cheers to Nonno! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Book a table now

Fresh, authentic and delicious! We tried 6 different empanadas and they all were great. The morcilla, chorizo and chimichuri sauce were just like in Buenos Aires and perfect. He made us ensalada rusa by request and it was excellent as well. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

For vegetarians: There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available! As for kids, the space is small, so it might not be ideal for strollers, but older children will enjoy it, especially the empanadas!

I gave it a try, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's worth paying the toll to eat in Queens instead. The restaurant felt more Italian than Argentine, with only one or two Argentine dishes on the menu. Book a table now
