I'm surprised nobody has made mention of this restaurant. We've been going for years. It's very unpretentious but as honest as they come. The menu is extensive and every dish is good although the chef's recommendations are really worth trying. The owners Danny and Mabel work every day of the week and the people that know about Noodle City are regulars who enjoy good food at reasonable prices where you can see through the glass into the kitchen as it's being cooked. I particularly like the salt and pepper cod and calamari, the Peking style pork ribs, the chilli plum chicken and the Szechuan king prawns. The place isn't licensed so it's BYO and I suggest you book on Friday and Saturday nights....
We always stop here when we can, and on occasions, plan our trip to Sydney so we can stop here! Service is fantastic, food is fresh (you can watch it being cooked), and the price is right. Restaurant is clean, but I was a bit disappointed the last time I was there as the interior of the doors in the toilet are very, very grimy and need a good wash. (You have to look at them as you are doing what you came to do.) Toilet area, itself, is clean. Pity about the grime of millions of fingers on the doors!
Literally sat down and within second was served a hot tea. In what only seemed like 5 minutes a big steaming bowl of wonton noodle soup was placed in front of me. Great flavour. Packed with everything. So good I couldn't finish it. Friendly staff. Last time I dined here was 17 years ago when I lived in the area so it's a stayer. Yum
No issues with this place as we are regulars from both a fine in and take away. Food and service is always consistent and satisfying whilst never having a bad meal but nothing really outstanding. Whatever you choose you won't fault and enjoy. We'll be back again and probably see you there!

A great local little restaurant, run by a fabulous local family who love serving fresh and hot food quickly. Don't be fooled by the decor, they put the value and investment into their brilliant food. Worth a dinner or even take away. Its all good
An old favourite in Gordon. The dining area is very basic, however the food is good and reasonably priced. If you like BBQ pork, roast duck or Hianan / soy chicken, this place is a good option.
We have eaten here quite a few times & tend to have the same things. BBQ duck & pork, laksas are good too We sometimes get duck & pork to bring home - yum. Good value
Decided to stop here for dinner while passing through mainly because Thai is something my partner and I really enjoy getting on occasion.
