Norms is no longer 24/7 at least for this location, although the advertising still says they are!Still a solid diner though. Can't go wrong with a club sandwich or cheeseburger. Good amount of fries. They come with ranch, not ketchup. I always find interesting they have their own ketchup brand, not heinz!This location is surprisingly big. Didn't look like it from outside. High ceiling, looks clean.
Wonderful staff, heard them laughing and joking so management is doing something to keep them happy.Food as expected and the environment was clean.The coffee was good, not too bitter, burnt, or watered down.They had cold brew on their list of drinks as well.Definitely would come to a Norms over a Denny's.They had everything you can think of for breakfast and steak items.
It's great! The atmosphere is modern, and the place is always bustling! I really enjoy this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I couldn't decide between the Jamaica (hibiscus) drink and the Horchata, but our server told me, "You can have both! It's bottomless!" Yes, please! This is one of the reasons we love America! I've been visiting Norms since 1963, and while times have changed, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service have remained consistent. The portion sizes are still generous. As for the prices, well, everything has increased over time, so that's something to keep in mind. Overall, it's nice to dine out every now and then. Food rating: 4/5. Book a table now
I used to prefer this Norms location over the one in West Covina, but I think I might be better off at the other one now. It was quite busy at 8 PM, and the service was slow. Our server was inconsistent in their attention. The food was decent, although the liver and onions were a bit off. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
Went to this specific Norms in El Monte 3 days this week. Food was great each time. The Calimex menu was pretty delish. Where they really shine is with their customer service, one in particular. Maria did a phenomenal job ensuring we were always full on coffee and food was prompt.Food: 5/5

The 3/4 lb. T-bone steak was dry, and the eggs were overcooked and watery—just not satisfying at all.
