Good food and friendly staff but they did mix up our orders a little. I asked for no tomato and my husband for no onion but we both had those items on our burgers. Not a huge deal, we just picked them off and they were great regardless. Reasonably priced and they worked quickly, would definitely recommend getting takeaway and walking down to the riverbank to have lunch, there's some great picnic benches right on the water!
We stopped in here while staying in North Haven for some lunch. We ordered some fish, chips and potato scallops. Food was yum and a good size. We ordered a medium size chips for our family of 5 and was plenty with the side of fish and scallops. We got ice cream after and they were huge! Kids were very impressed!
Cold food. Staff are rude and have no concept of customer service. To leave food going cold on the counter as they couldnt be bothered to tell the customer it was ready. Really shocked as it had always been goid previously. Suggest that the owners get some new staff before they wreck their business
I dropped in to the North Haven Take Away after it was recommended by the motel manager I was staying in. The food was good particularly the prawn cutlets, the potato scallops were a bit skinny but everything else was good. Cool looking shop and next time I'll try the rum and raisin ice cream. Had the best coffee in the recent times. The owners and staff are pleasant.Homemade Cakes and muffins are yummy. You could get tons of tasty ice cream in a single serve. Seafood is fresh and tasty.Give it a try.Overall a great place to hangout and have food in North Haven.
Delicious fish, chips, anything you want, not to mention ice creams. We go regularly with friends for morning tea, with good assortment of cakes, slices or brekky type foods as some of the men prefer. Make up your own menu of desirables. Staff lovely, especially Kristy
Are here about 18 months ago now we just have to go every time we go to north haven. It is the best fish and chips around. Very fresh and generous portion sizes.
This is the third time I've eaten here and once again I enjoyed the beer battered flathead fillet, calamari, prawn cutlets and burger. Will definitely be back. Book a table now

Also the food took ages to come, FYI we were their first group of customers for that evening, so don't understand what was the hold up."
