My wife and i were looking for some place nice for our anniversary night out, this was recommend and we're glad we tried it. Very, very nice, modern, upscale, atmosphere, but not over-the-top, or pretentious. Modern, but in a classic simplifiedway. Wait-staff was attentive but not intrusive oh and They actually take reservations! Very classy. I wore dark jeans and abutton down shirt and I wasn't under-dressed, a sport coat was about as dressed up as you might want to get. Upscale Italian restaurant, several vegetarian choices and surprisingly tasted very good. Ambiance is OK, but the food is really good. White truffle garlic bread, grilled bread and olive oil were great. Zuca chips are nice and crispy, bit oily. Arancini was nice surprise, although could have enjoyed with more sauce or balsamic glaze or something. One of the best pizzaswe have ever tasted, both Margherita and Cacio E Pepe were very nice. Seasonal vegetable salad and Tiramasu are good. Parkingis available and reservations are recommended.
So busy on Saturday night it was an hour wait at 5:30 pm. So we snagged 2 seats at the bar and Isaac was great. Food took forever though. And the good bread and olive oil is not good. Also my fried calamari suffered the rubber band syndrome.The braised short rib had two pieces but only one was tender. Still dry though and needs some sauce like the braising liquid. So the food was disappointing but the atmosphere and service very nice.
With a pleasent atmosphere, North Italia provided well prepared food in the hands of a friendly server. From casual families to prom goers, everyone appeared pleased with their experience. This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Food is reasonably priced for the quality. Portions aren't outrageously large. But the best thing is the service everyone is so professional and friendly! You can tell they take pride in what they do.
I had brunch at North Italia, and I had a great experience. Sage was our waitress. She was attentive and very pleasant. Our food was great. We had the smoked salmon avocado toast, cannoli french toast, and the chicken pesto. All of it was delicious. I'll be back soon.
The food was good but not for the price. If I go here again I will get the pasta or something else because I was expecting more authentic Italian pizza and it just wasn’t the same. The restaurant and the employees were very nice. It was really easy forme to call in.
Outstanding Italian food! We really savored our dishes and finished every bite. Our server was fantastic, too. The ambiance was charming and sophisticated. We are definitely looking forward to coming back!
