First off, I absolutely love that they state their rice and beans are vegetarian and have a very clear vegetarian/ allergen menu. As a vegetarian I'm often hesitant of anything even vaguely authentic and probably wouldn't have tried this place without that.Second, prior to yesterday I had only had their burritos for the main course, which are phenomenal, incredibly packed, and are usually two meals for me. I feel that Mexican food is always reliable. I tried this place for the first time when she opened many years ago and was not blown away. as I saw so many other Mexican options near, I did not go back. I recently tried her again and I was pleasantly surprised with her veggie burrito and cheese enchiladas. a family member also loved there mais Mexican style bark tacos. I've gone twice now and it was always good.
for a $12 burrito I would have expected a little more taste. it was pretty bland and soggy. when I got the big burrito, I had hoped and expected that something is bigger than chipotle, as it is more expensive than chipotle. yet it was in the size smaller and not the best tasting. I don't go back and would not recommend to others. the personal was nice. is okay.
So Tasty! The Mini Beef Chimichanga is excellent! And the place had a line out of the door. Sign of good food!!! Very recommended! I really want to try the catering for a party! Hubby is so happy that we have a place nearby that has so good food!

Although North of the Border offers meat dishes, they excel at creating delicious vegan burritos! The use of fresh ingredients, a locally owned atmosphere, and generous portion sizes make this restaurant a fantastic choice for families.
This restaurant offers fantastic food and a wonderful staff in a setting that feels more genuine than the larger chain restaurants. It was an improvement from my previous review on 2023-03-01.
They substitute avocado for meat in every dish. The beans and rice are vegan as well. My go-to dish is the chimichanga without cheese. The guacamole is the best I've ever had!

Love the food and staff. Great service and the food is delicious. I've never had anything I didn't like. Pico de Gallo is out of us world.
