Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel.
The drinks were enjoyable, but the menu is limited. One person did not enjoy the pork dish, while another thought the short pastrami ribs were fatty and not worth the price. The burger was tasty. The atmosphere is lively, but not worth the high price of the $30 starters. Stick to the burger and a cocktail or beer instead.
I was hoping the food would be really great considering that the restaurant recently won an award for the best new restaurant in SF. I found the starters to be much better than the starters and the overall food was a little over salted for my range. The tangerine beer I had was great! The staff was also very friendly.
whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood. Excellent selection of beers, reliably delicious food and great service. If you don't have a reservation, it's usually easy to secure a spot at the bar for a full dining service. A neighborhood favorite.
The ambience and the service were really great. I thought the menu items were unique compared to other similar restaurants, which I appreciated. However, nobody blew my socks off.
I went for supper with my wife and one of her friends on a Saturday night The decor was good, the service exemplary The food was.OK.
