I would rate my personal dining experience at Northern Cafe a perfect 5 out of 5 stars! This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to with reasonable prices, generous portions perfect for sharing, and exceptional customer service. Whether you choose a noodle dish, rice dish, or dumplings, the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to return for another fantastic dining experience at Northern Cafe.
Food was good but they put MSG in it. Be warned: I called ahead and asked them to refrain from adding MSG (due to an allergy) and they said “sure, no problem”. Arrive to pick up my food (order was on time, everything was there), double check that there’s no MSG in the food…said they didn’t get the message. Not a good place if you don’t want MSG in your food or have food allergies or sensitivities you need addressed.
Pretty solid sit-in Chinese food restaurant with traditional selection of Chinese dishes. Me and my mom got the Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles which were amazing in the broth it came in, Juicy Pork Dumplings which were a burst of flavor when you bit into them, Green Onion pancakes were hot fresh and delicious and Chow Mien with chicken also a great dish. Overall great place and nice servers! Will come here again.
I love ordering anything with Sichuan peppercorn but my favorite is Chongqing chicken and Cold Noodles. This location is did a fantastic job on my Chongqing chicken—not too much breading and chunky chicken pieces. Service was good. Parking is a little tight. Food is cooked to order so I waited 15 minutes. I stopped in for takeout during lunch and the restaurant was packed. Book a table now
This is my go-to Chinese restaurant! It's a hidden gem that is usually not crowded when I visit. The food is consistently delicious and we have not been disappointed with any of our orders. The staff provides great customer service and is accommodating to large parties. While there are other locations in the chain, this one is definitely the best.
Tip: Side Order of steamed veggies always helps make it seem healthier No time for SGV? Northern Cafe: it 's just as good and comparable in price. Somehow I have heard other places have gone downhill in the past year but this place has always come through.
The staff was very kind and patient explaining everything to me since I’m really indecisive. The environment was nice and neat. The food was really good too especially the noodles, the portion was very big. I’ve been here twice and would revisit again.
This restaurant should be as busy as the two generations next to them. The food is amazing - the noodles are fantastic, the string beans are fabulous, and the dumplings are delicious. You should definitely come here, it's that good! Book a table now
Our production team went to eat at Panda. Not knowing this gem was here. What luck. Amazing . Real Chinese food! For ordering there's an English side to the menu..turn it over.
