Lovely tearooms in lovely setting with pleasant staff which I have been visiting for many years . The food has always been of great quality and generous portions and always felt it was good value. On my last 3 recent visits I felt the portions were very meagre with everything extra on top. The burgher my husband had tasted pre cooked with a tiny portion of crisps and coleslaw . My breakfast consisted of one small slice of toast two mushrooms , one egg and a rasher of bacon. Cooked well but just the bare minimum. The new menu reflects the goal to offer a basic meal and then load the cost with extras which were previously included. A slippery slope to being average rather than being exceptiona...
What a wonderful find this place was.. food was lovely and the staff were excellent and really friendly.. would most definitely visit again
What we had when we was there was nice. Shame they had just stopped serving the cooked food.
Booked for mums birthday. Staff is very welcoming, food lovely. I can't wait to go back
