Nostalgia is a strong force... It drives us to do, watch, go and even eat. This is the sizzle Northwoods is selling. The days of yesteryore are glorified here... From the façade with it's stacked logs and faux snowcapped roof, to the dimly lit dining room with peanut shells on the floor, and of course the walls adorned with old black and white photographs of lumberjacks and pioneers conquering the frontier. No idea what to expect if you 've never been here. Visited this old-school neighborhood steakhouse with a rustic vibe on Valentine's Day, hoping for a cozy solo dinner. Love the tradition of peeling peanuts and tossing the shells on the ground.
