as always, eating is pretty good, but the service was atrocious. there was no one who greeted us when we arrived, so we waited 5 minutes or more until someone finally brought us to our table. then it took 15 minutes or more to order drinks. I had to stand up and pick up the waiting staff twice through the night to order more drinks. To be honest, the employees have no experience or training in the hospitality. they walk with their head in the clouds, not taught to be attentive to what they are paid for! the food comes all by chance and either too much at once and they feel overwhelmed and then nothing for old and the salads came last! only a very bad experience.
The restaurant has a nice, decent atmosphere and looks exclusive from the outside. The interior is well-designed, and we saw them preparing for a function which looked nicely set. We had lunch with friends here and found the food portion to be decent, although the food itself was just okay for me. However, I did enjoy the desserts. Our Greek friend who was with us thoroughly enjoyed the meal, so perhaps I am biased or he is. Overall, it was a nice place to have lunch with good service, nice people, and decent food.
City views and atmosphere without the price tag. Best value in Brisbane this oneto put this in context, we had our staff Xmas party here so our spend on drinks was higher than normal which pushes up our cost per head vs what this would normally cost you. The food is as good as Hellenika and half the price $78 pp extended banquet for ten and we took a doggy bag home). Wine list is humble but still totally acceptable, something for everyone. Add this one to your list! It’s damn good.
Once again, the Greek Club has outdone itself. Our work Xmas Party was a roaring success. The food was sensational, the staff were amazing as always. Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond every single year. We had three special dietary requirements and they were all met without any problem at all. This is why we keep coming back, and we will be back again for sure! Thank you Nostimo Restaurant for your excellent service.
