Notkins - Table reservation

We visited Belon by making reservation under Montreal MTLaTABLE activity. We went for 3 course dinner on a Saturday evening. For me, I went for 3 oysters with mornay sauce, parmesan, panko jalapeno as my appertizer, grilled octopus pasta (the fat octopus had the...charred flavor, wonderful! for main and Belon style pavlova as dessert! On the other hand, my husband ordered salmon tartare for his appertizer, red snapper dish as main and cacao barry brownie as dessert. All these sound simple and normal food were served to our surprise. we were there on Wednesday night and it was quite alive. I was not so hungry and had a garnel role. it was very tasty and hit the place. my man had the seafood poutins and he really enjoyed all the wonderful aromas. there were bigger parties around us, so I had to notice all fabulous seafood tablets that were shared. oyster plates, lobster plates, garnel plates (I wish I sat with them) service was attentive and friendly.

Oyster Bar, ate a plate called: seared scallops, but unfortunately was in the did a risotto with only 3 small scallops. eating was good, but expensive for three scallops. service was extremely slow and we were few customers.

beautiful place with two big mainbars to sit. tartare is beautiful, her rockefellers are delicious. beautiful selection of kaviar as well.

here to the New Year's Dinner and wow! everything from service, ambiente and food was excellent! we will be back in montreal next time!
