The food is served quickly, but unfortunately, the quality has declined. We dined here most recently on Saturday night, June 4, 2022. The won ton soup was adequate, and the pork fried rice was okay. However, the grandfather chicken was disappointing—it was tough and had more breading than chicken (please see the attached pictures). When adding up the actual amount of chicken, I doubt it even reached a tablespoon of meat. After 20 years of frequenting this place because of its convenience, this will be our last visit. We are truly disappointed, as we used to enjoy dining here.
The negative reviews confuse me. I think people must have this Number One confused with other restaurants. We order food from here about once a week and it’s always delicious. Some of our favorites are the grandfather chicken, Singapore noodles, egg rolls and pork fried rice. We have had positive experiences with customer service as well as yummy, hot food. I Definitely recommend Number One.
I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. The place did get bought by new people, but in my opinion the recipes and everything have stayed the same. I love their dumplings and pork fried rice. Also they’re super fast, the food gets prepared in 15 minutes or less. I always come here and they’ve never disappointed me.
I used to love this place. However, I ordered Wonton soup and it was incredible salty. I didn't eat it because it was inedible. I knew something was really wrong and upon reading other reviews, it seems they have a new owner. It's a shame because this place is going to go downhill fast!

Has to be the worse Chinese food in south jersey ordered small order of ribs they had to search the container for the 4 smallest ribs they could find ! Pork fried rice had about 5 little cubes of pork terrible place avoid at all cost !!! Save ur
Im not sure how you mess up white rice and mixed vegetables but they did. This was AFTER i had to return to get the correct order. This place is a joke
This was the worst fried rice I ever had! Certainly not fried. No flavor at all. The soup was fair at best. Disappointed as it's close to my home.
Best egg rolls in the state of New Jersey I'm not kidding no grease and perfectly cooked 6 Stars and the food is always fresh
