Numéro 3 is an excellent restaurant in a sleepy village not far from Versailles, and well worth a visit if you are nearby. The food is chosen by the chef, but you have the choice of 3, 5 or 7 courses (except on Saturday evening when the 3-course option is not available). Our group included one person with allergies and the staff were exemplary in taking account of them, and explaining what they had done differently to the dishes (rather than just omitting some ingredients). This is a wonderful restaurant in a tiny village not far from Rambouillet. We had the menu, in a very nice dining room opening on a small garden. Amazing feminine team. We started with an incredible mozzarella tomato which changed all we know about. Then we had a very original langoustine in crayfish sauce. Followed by an egg from the local hens. Continued by a perfectly cooked pig. Cheeses, as all the product are local. We paired wines as advised. Wonderful fruity dessert. In all, we had an unforgrettable lunch. Kudos!!

We had an excellent five course lunch and wine pairing here a few weekends ago. The service was impeccable yet friendly and engaging; the ambiance is modern and understated with very unusual plates from Les Demoiselles d'Anjou. The courses were all delicious and served in a timely manner with a perfect wine-pairing selection. We live in the area and we'll be back.

The dinner was quite good. The problems began with an absence of parking and a pretentious young man serving (happily, there was a lovely young woman who took his place). The dining room, however, is cold, gray and lacking in atmosphere. Would not return.
