Food was great. Service was horrible. The fried buns with condensed milk were killer! My husband got the mega hot pot and he loved it. The eel rice bowl had a hefty portion but at the price point of almost $20 I would expect so. The only reason it?s 4/5stars is because the waitress/cashier lady was so rude and standoffish. She was on her phone when we walked in, didn?t botherlooking up. I eventually walked over and tried placing a take out order. If asian fair is on your mind no one in west Hartford does it better than nummy! We drive over an hour just to taste the outstanding broth of the little pot(pictured dish) the combinations of texture in the soups is the best I have ever tasted I would definitely recommend trying something even if it's beyond your comfort level because everything they serve here is with care and come out fantastic! Shout out to the owners and staff that always make us feel us accommodated and taken care of!
Great flavors! We enjoyed the dipping sauce of the steamed vegetable gyoza. The grilled eel on rice, the Bam bam noodles with ground pork, and the japchae sweet potato glass noodle soup each offered unique flavors and textures that were delicious to the last bite. Everything smelled and looked so good I forgot to the photos! We were seated right away and served quickly. We ordered medium spicy which was just right. Lots of indoor and some outdoor seating. Limited parking in front.
This is my third visit to Nummy and I am always impressed! The food is so warming and delicious; I got the nummy noodle with an egg and mild. My spice tolerance is pretty low but the mild option hits the spot of spicy but not too spicy. I asked the owner for a dessert recommendation to which he suggested the golden buns and they were amazing! Not overly sweet, excellently fried, and warm. Highly recommend this restaurant for a wholesome food experience.

The soup, buns and dumplings are really good here. My friend did not enjoy her Udon noodle dish but maybe it was just a miss that day. Place was clean and owner was friendly. It's not the best I've had of restraunts similar to Nummy but def great forthe area it's in! (Usually you have to travel closer to cities like NY or Boston) Stick with low spice if your not used to itbut if you like a beating they got the option!
Very Nummy! Everything was delicious and the Bam Bam noodles were perfectly sauced! The right amount of flavor for each component! Cloudy Melon was interesting but very delicious. I can relate that flavor to something else I had before, yet I could not tell you what it is probably like those dessert glutinous rice balls but without the filling. Everything came out at the perfect timing. Thanks again!
???? Udon noodles: the veggies and broth was flavorful and the noodles had a great texture: ????black sesame sticky rice ball: these were a perfect melt in your mouth, lovely dessert. I would definitely get that again. This is a small business but couldtell the staff knows everyone pretty well. I would go back for those nooodz cravings.
