In short, it's not a good place to go, save your money! During my stay; concierge staff have the luck of basic knowledge likehow to communicate with guests with eye contact, right tone, smile.... When I checked out after a few days; I got double charged for the services that I didn't get. They don't have any clues for what's going on luck of goodwill to give me the detailed bill right there when I request it or email me after they figured out the reason. I loved the design and uniqueness of the hotel, however, we had major noise issues with our actual room. As others have mentioned, the noise in the hotel travels through the walls very easily. Our room was situated next to the stairwell, so all night we were hearing the stairwell door open/close and the footsteps of people coming up and down the stairs. Further, when in the bathroom, we could literally hear the conversations of the occupants in the room next to us (and I assume they could hear ours as well).Also, our room wasn't ready at check-in and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes before it was ready. This is a unique eclectic hotel. I enjoyed my stay, especially since the staff was courteous and allowed me to switch rooms on my second night due to a noise coming from my vent and not having any hot water. Andres was very helpful and responsive to the issues with my room, and so was the young lady at the front desk.The best part about the room for me was the bed. It was comfortable, especially after two days of business and little sleep. I'd stay here again for sure.Rooms: Very eclectic and unique rooms with comfortable beds.Nearby activities: Within walking distance of downtown Nyack, which has a ton of restaurants and shops.

We recently attended a dance event in the lobby, and I have to say that the unique decor and modern layout really enhanced our experience. However, on a hot summer day, the portable air conditioning unit provided by the hotel for the bar area simply couldn’t keep up with the heat in the repurposed industrial space with its high ceilings. While the staff made efforts to improve the situation, they unfortunately weren’t successful. If you’re planning to dance there, I recommend choosing cooler days!
Went for a staycation for a friends birthday. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They were excites it was HER birthday! Has a smallish outdoor pool and nice hot tub with large spaces for lounging and sunbathing. There was a water main break in the town of Nyack, and we were well taken care of while waterless! Breakfast was delish!Also pet friendly! Met some very adorable pups!
Beautiful hotel but very thin walls. I had to change my room due to noise. The day after I checked out I noticed charges on my credit card, so I called to find out what they were for and the man I spoke was very rude. For the price you pay it's not worth it. I will be back in that area several times, but I won't stay there ever again.Rooms: 3/5
We really enjoy Hotel Nyack for a quick weekend escape from the city! The pool has a fantastic atmosphere, and the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. We've been returning for several summers and have a great experience each time! Rating for the rooms: 4/5.

Looks like an old warehouse turned into an upscale hotel. Very friendly staff. The restaurant took a while to get served and they weren't very busy. Would recommend the hotel if staying in the area.Rooms: 5/5
