We came for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed our meal though we were actually full after dinner with friends the evening before and so asked if we could have cheese instead of pudding. Madame (not the waiter) said of course but failed to mention...that is included in the menus anyway, We felt slightly peeved to say the least when all the other tables were offered a cheese course before dessert. We were also surprised that the waiter served the man at the table first... The meal itself was delicious (we took the middle menu at 39 euros), with fresh truffles and we would go back next time we are in the area (we come 3 or 4 times a year) and hope Madame is a little more honest.

We stumbled on this gem of a restaurant that is 20 minutes from where we live. Everything else was closed and it had been recommended by some locals. What a nice suprise to find sweetbreads, one of my favorite dishes. The cook has trained and...worked for years in some of the very best michelin rated restaurants in Paris and my impression is that he is reaching for a star himself. This is not yet reflected in his prices, which are very reasonable, but I suggest you hurry and definitely try the sweetbreads!

This was particularly good cooking at a particularly good price, we both ate off the €29 Menu Gourmand. This was three courses supplemented with an amuse bouche and a palate cleansing sorbet between courses. My only qualification was the price of the half bottles of...wine, particularly the white. It is worth going out of your way to eat here.

This was, we believe, our fifth visit to what is definitely one of our favourite restaurants. I have written previously about the excellence of the cuisine and the ambience of the restaurant and both continue to impress. However, this time we were treated to the...joy of being looked after brilliantly by our waiter. I say
