Au carrefour à l’entrée de Saint-Genis, le restaurant est idéalement placé pour une multitude de publics, dont les touristes perdus, des lycéens en voisins et un lot de businessmen et -women. Belle deco pour les sportifs, notamment pour les fans de rugby en ce début de printemps. Le service est sympathique, un poil long, mais les plats sont généreux, d’autant plus que tournés aux couleurs locales (comme les rösties, ou une étrange crème brûlée au Toblerone). On a apprécié d’y trouver refuge un jour de pluie en semaine pour un déjeuner réconfortant. L’addition est relativement salée, mais encore acceptable à deux pas de la frontière. On s’en sort bien, même si le vice se cache dans les détail...
After several years in the region, I always come back to o'brasseurs for the same reason, reception at the top, service at the top, top tip dishes and normal prices (unlike many French-listed badges wanting to stir up to the last Swiss franc). as much as the tin, as the lamb mouse, as well as the burgers or flammkuchen, everything is very good. Not to mention the beer, of the real as well!All the people I sent to test the restaurant loved and are still surprised at the existence of a Pub/resto like this one on the border.
the atmosphere and the decor is nice, the beer is very good, unfortunately a little disappointed with the burgers. (hard bread, warm burger, cheese not even melted. that remains correct but nothing exceptional in food.
What an atmosphere the karaoke evening of Thursday! friendly and full of life. Yeah, that's loud, but that's kind of what we're looking for, right? The burgers keep the road, the flames are good.
