We celebrated my 40th birthday here last week. The mezzanine space was perfect for us as we were a group of 18 with a few kids so it kept us relatively separate from main dining area. The food was beautifully presented and was authentically Indian with a few modern twists and of course delicious! The malai tikka served on lentils was surprisingly delightful as a combination and the handi gosht was cooked to perfection, the lamb just melted. But the absolute favourite for all was the pistachio kheer with kulfi the hot and cold combination was both comforting and refreshing. All topped off with attentive service! Well what a find! The restaurant made excellent use of space on three levels plus a small terrace. The staff were very helpful in advising about the background and origins of the recipes. They couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring that we made the best choices. Our party of 5 were all delighted with the food and we would highly recommend this restaurant. The lamb chops for starters were the best I have ever eaten. They were meaty and juicy and the meat literally just melted as you bit into it. The lobster was fabulous, though a little small, in the most amazing creamy sauce. Thank you for looking after us, we will visit when we are next in Richmond.
This is the best Indian food we’ve ever had! They offer a wide variety of dishes that go beyond the typical range of slightly different curry sauces found in many other Indian restaurants. The food had an amazing balance of flavors, and the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The service was very friendly, allowing us to savor our meal without feeling rushed. We really wish this place were closer to home, as we would love to explore the rest of the menu!
really impressed by eating. compliments to the chef for the kitchen tasted authentic Indian, was presented so well. I loved the appetizers, my fave were the lamming, so tender and tasty. will recommend friends and family. Drink menu was so good! really nice restaurant. deserves definitiw the status as michelin stars rated restaurant! many thanks to the wonderful staff that has made so much fun.

Really enjoyed a family celebration meal here. Everyone loved their food, the restaurant is cozy but with nicely spaced tables. Great atmosphere and exciting to eat at a place with a Michelin star too! Perhaps a little pricey but excellent flavours in all of the dishes, although the shining star was definitely the onion bahjis... Fantastic. A very nice evening.

This restaurant offers excellent authentic Indian cuisine, unlike the Anglo-Indian dishes found at many other establishments. The menu features a wide variety of beautifully prepared and cooked dishes, all presented with great care. Additionally, the wine list is impressive.
Perfect and flawless. As good as 'real ' Indian food gets. I 'm only sad it 's taken this long to visit for the first time. We will be back!
