My husband and I have visited this restaurant on several occasions. I used to enjoy flawless meals, but I'm not contemplating if I want to go back. I always order their scallops because everything about the dish is wonderful…usually. I thought the scallops looked undercooked this time around, but I'm not a chef nor an expert so I dug in. Went for my birthday. Had the Sea Bass which was delicious! My friend had the Shrimp Scampi which she said was delicious as well. It wasn't very crowded on a Thursday night which was nice. Our waiter Ed was attentive but not overbearing. I received a free birthday dessert and what was nice is he asked me if I had any food allergies or any dislikes. He came back with Cheesecake covered in caramel with strawberries and blueberries. Perfect end to a great meal!
Dinner at Oceano was amazing. We were accommodated as requested with outdoor seating since we had our dog with us. Our server, John, was top notch. He even brought a bowl of water for our dog first before anything else, which we definitely appreciated! Food was amazing. And they even made a special burger for our dog! They have the best chocolate chip cookie in St Louis. Can’t wait to return!!
Table of 6 — timing was off. 5 ppl got salads, 1 person did not. No server for a bit New dishes for all, still no salad. Inquired with second server and missing salad came. Drink order timing also off. Server was fine but the whole table should get salad or drinks as a group.
