Oceanview has been a favorite of mine every time I go back to LA for at least three years now; my go-to place for dining with friends in the La Crescenta area. However, definitely not so hot on the service this time. We went twice, once for Friday dinner and then again for breakfast the next day. Friday night the waitress forgot to put in our order and even after that it was another half-hour wait. Breakfast the next day the food was awfully slow too. And someone at the table next to us commented on it also, so I know it wasn't just us. However, the food was good when it came. I live fairly close to this restaurant but had not had the opportunity to try it until this week. A Groupon deal motivated me and the results were spectacular. The meals were excellent, delicious and well-presented. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. I WILL be returning more often and am regretting that I missed this gem for so long!
Food was delicious, with so many options. Our server Patricia was great. Have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and would come back again for all. We hadn't been here in a while because service wasn't so great (even though the food was). It was nice to see all new staff with better service.
this is a dog friendy place. they have a nice outside seating area that provides great treats for your pets as you eat a scrumptious meal!
