Visited Bristol this weekend for family visit. We stopped by O?Charley?s for dinner. We were seated immediately and greeted promptly. Hot rolls and drinks were brought out within minutes. I normally order the prime rib but O?Charley?s has taken that off the menu. So from the recommendation of our server, I ordered the balsamic chicken from the new menu items. A large thin chicken breast was grilled and served with asparagus, tomatoes and cheese and then drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Chicken was moist and seasoned well. Toppings were grilled and crisp. The food was good and the service was solid. I would say the only irritating element was the chairs around me and basically the whole restaurant was up before I even ordered my food. The service was great and bartender didn't beat me. Even offered dessert. I felt like the manager wanted to hurry and go. I literally left ike 10 minutes after the closing time. I ordered about 35 minutes before closing. I choose another restaurant late next time, but probably vist when I can get there an hour ago. Minus, it would have been 5 stars.
The first time here and was impressed! Food was so good, the salmon is brilliant, and the service was great! Enjoy the $5 drinks and the chocolate covered strawberry martini was the perfect end! Can't wait to try something else on the menu when we stop!
