Do you know the situation you want to surprise your wife for your birthday with a nice breakfast? ...if so, then you should avoid Hotel Ochsen in Höfen. After I had specifically pointed out to the table reservation that my wife's birthday has and I had mentioned at least a kind greeting like a birthday congratulation in an ideal case if it should be really great with a small glass of champagne or the like (I haven't been relying on thought games about the restaurant for some time) I was really disappointed.
