While visiting the wonderful Albert Dock, my party decided to give the hotel bar/restaurant Oddsocks a try for a meal after a long day of sightseeing (unfortunately, we had not made reservations elsewhere). We were seated in the nearly empty dining area as recommended by the manager. We ordered drinks - a bottle of white wine and pink gin. However, the wine glass had a lipstick mark on it, so I returned it to the bar for cleaning. The cocktail was flat, so I also had to return that to the bar. My sisters confirmed that the gin was indeed flat as well. We ordered fish and chips, but when it arrived, it was overcooked and dark, making it unappetizing. We decided to try the restaurant at the Jury's Inn and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, especially the pizza which my partner loved. The staff at the restaurant were great and the menu had a good variety. We had excellent service, particularly from our waitress Louise who was fantastic. We even tried the smores cake based on her recommendation and it was amazing. Overall, we had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant.

Popped in here for a drink before going to Michael Buble at the Arena. Considering they would know there was a huge show on at the arena they hadn't done any forward planning, so didn't have enough staff to deal with the number of customers....Special mention to Jorge though, who was verbally abused by a very impatient, irrate and rude customer but handled it very professionally. My friend and I were lucky enough to eat every night at Oddsocks during our recent stay in Liverpool. Mia the wonderful waitress made us feel like family. The food and service was amazing. We cant wait to return.

Food was just okay, if it is ever open. Often closed for private groups staying at the hotel, leaving the rest of the guests out of luck, and they could care less. Disappointing

The restaurant isn't very big, but it is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't try the food, but the drinks were all good.
