The restaurant lies in Ostra-Allee not far from the Zwinger. It’s a nice and gay restaurant where one can have very good Russian specialities. I just had a beer there during the lunch break which I imposed myself on the occasion of my visit...to the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, on September after eating a sandwich. Unfortunately my stay in Dresden wasn’t long enough for me to be able go to that restaurant to have a meal. I regretted much that impossibility on my part because, as stated, the Russian specialities listed on the menu looked very good. The staff members seem to be very kind. The lady who served me the beer at the bar was talking in Russian to another customer. I realized it was a...

This restaurant is located on the back side of Zwinger, towards the Holiday Inn. It serves excellent Ukrainian food. Very generous portions. Nice staff. Whoever is tired of Sauerbraten and the Roulade should come here. I thought that the ice cream they used for deserts...was a little lower quality, but the other dishes were simply delicious. From the street the place seems perpetually sort of deserted, but don't be discouraged, it is a great opportunity to try something new. Once you come in you will notice that there are guests inside. They have a print-out of an English menu, otherwise the menu is printed in Russian and German. I communicated with the waitress in German, not sure if she kn...

during the entry, the staff in the bench seemed unsuitable to us, took a long time to get a menu. once ordered, eating took a considerable time to come. I had a chicken dish (kiew) that was raw in the middle. the waitress took a look and said...” ah no” and took the court away without a statement. my husband ended his meal while I suspected that my was recovered. the second kiew came and was placed before me with a Kurt apology. she called the waitress and asked the bill, she came back with the kiew. Unfortunately, my German is not good enough to make a formal complaint, but I will never return to this institution again.

we worked in dresden and went there first without knowing the place on our high-time day, it was an absolutely correct decision: eating is delicious, fresh, homemade and tastes like in the childhood in Russia! later we often returned or took something to eat that was very comfortable. one evening we invited our friends from Israel and Australia to dinner (one of them eats only vegan) and they also loved eating, service and atmosphere very! the restaurant is located directly opposite the kennel, so it is ideal to visit after the walk through dresden or before/after the oper.

We had a lunch in this restaurant recommended by our guide during our Dresden excursion. To enjoy visit of this place can be only person with nostalgia for former USSR with its menus. We had typical former Soviet Union soups and sausages with beer. Service...is professional but again typically Soviet with our any smile Book a table now
