We came for lunch on a Friday. There was no wait and the waitresses were really nice. María José was our waitress and helped us. She really was the best! She was super pleasant and nice! We ordered a mojito, a beer, steamed gyozas, a miso green soup, a mahalo sushi, and risotto salmon. My favorite items were the miso green soup and the risotto salmon. I would come again and again just for those two items. The soup was beyond flavorful. And the risotto? My god. It was so creamy, the texture was perfect, it was so delicious. I dined at Ohana Sushi on Sunday July 3, 2022 at 8:30 pm. First impressions, the dining area was clean and had a modern interior design vibe going on. The menu looked very promising as it featured a variety of instagram-worthy sushi rolls. What stood out to me was that there were some intriguing sushi items that I have not seen anywhere else, so I applaud Ohana Sushi for trying to step out of the norm. The service was just disappointing. Its not a cheap place but the waitresses treat you like you owe them something. The crab tacos were just awful and thankfully they change them but their attitude made the customer feel like they are wrong all the time. The place was employed and I took an extra chair for my purse and one of the waitresses told me to move it just in case someone came to that table (this was just absurd since the place was empty and there were at least 10 empty tables. I wouldn't recommend it just because it's nothing special and the service is really bad.
Came here for an early dinner and the place was completely empty. We opted out to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather. We were attended pretty quickly. For appetizer we decided to go for the Friend Gyozas. Those were delicious. For my main entree I went for the Aloha Fish which was very flavorful with the sauce and shrimp on top. The only downside was that the fish was quite a bit greasy. The roll we had was very fresh. Id like to come back here and try their different menu items. Book a table now
A sleek and modern Japanese restaurant, with Miami influences to provide some nice variety in food and drinks.While there's no bar or outside seating, there's great indoor table service. Sushi is well-priced, and even the fancier rolls won't break the bank, so I treated myself with a samurai roll and a beer.Pretty solid joint!
First time ordering from this place with Door dash which made a fast delivery. The food, what a disappointment. It didn't look appealing, tiny portion size. Definitely not worth the $19 each I paid for every roll. Taste wise was acceptable. What a rip-off, never ordering from here again. Do not recommend!
The sushi was pretty good, the food came out relatively quickly. The edamame was a good portion. The service was prompt and the ambiance was casual. I liked the menu screens on the wall with the photos. It made it easy to choose and we loved the healthy low carb roll selection.
It’s my third time at this restaurant, the service is always very good, the girls who work there al always happy to serve. The food is good but personally is not the best sushi for me, just my personal taste, something that does not match in my palate. Book a table now
So happy this place is finally in Kendall! I loved it in Doral and this location is just as good! They also have tenders for your picky eaters and they have chicken sushi for your kiddos.
