Update 4/2/23: They finally reopened!!! Golf and the family are back and better than ever. If you 've never been here please do yourself and this wonderful family the favor of having some of the best sushi in the valley. Yes, I 'll say better than most spots on Ventura! First time visiting Oishi. My husband ordered a beef bowl ? , and the meat was hard and chewed. I really wanted to try a Japanese soda, but they were out of it. Instead, I ordered a shirley temple drink, and they brought me something else. My Ramen soup was decent. In my opinion, it was missing some flavor, but i ate it. I did like that they greeted us as soon as we walked in.I will stop by again to give it a second chance, but not any time soon.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu.
The jewel of San Fernando valley, sushi that will blow your freaking mind. Handmade sauce you will never forget. Best selection of rolls. I have searched far and wide for the best sushi and Oishi provided more than I could ask. Service and staff that make me feel like a part of their family. I cannot sing enough praise about this restaurant. Once you come here, you will never go to another sushi place, that's a promise.
