I can honestly say that Okami Pako is the best Japanese food I tried in Geelong. It's all you can eat, but you order what you want from your table. We were told that the serving sizes are small, so we ordered eleven items. It turns out that the portions are not so small, so we had a task to finish everything. Each product we tried was either delicious or unique and interesting. The most unique were the King-Austern-Pilz-Salat (the surprisingly fleshy) and the grilled squid (which even I found quite intense). The most delicious was the wrong steak. The steak was very tender and juicy. Every product we tried was delicious from spring rolls to roasted chicken, vegetable gyoza to roasted rice. I...
Lies. You order sushi and it’s nothing like the photo on the menu. They literally give you one piece at a time if you are only a small table as they make adjustments. The waitress literally told us the chef said we couldn’t get more than two slices of sashimi total. Would be easier if you could just order what you want instead of this ‘all you can eat’ approach where they skimp and inconvenience until your allocated time us up.
This place is the best. $36.80 per head, as much to eat as you can fit. The service is very fast, so no waiting between exhaust sessions. Food is cooked to order and you can say piping hot, very fresh. Cold plates are amazing....beware the small green ball.
The best Japanese all you eat restaurant in Geelong, staff always eat out, staff very polite, great service. Food was also very delicious. Come back 100%. The price was excellent.
