If they didn't change the restaurant after pandemic, I would give it a 5. But whenever we come here the lunch special is so much more expensive if you dine-in! Past couple experiences my family and I had to leave because we were so disappointed! This change upsetted my daughters because it was one of their favorite restaurants. But before all of this nonsense happened, the food was delicious and I'll explain why. The lunch special bentos had delicious teriyaki chicken and the best most crispy tempura we had ever tasted. Our favorite Japanese restaurant in East bay area!!! Update as of 3/8/23: this restaurant never disappoints. If you are looking for THE BEST tasting masterpiece sushi/sashimi, look no further. If you are looking for some of the other best tasting Japanese food, you found the right spot to include reasonable prices and excellent staff/customer table service!!
